Privacy & Cookies
Higher Living takes your privacy seriously.
The following outlines what data we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it:
What We Collect and Why
When you visit our website, we record certain details about your visit, such as your domain name and / or IP address, the pages you view and the address of any website that may have lead you to our Higher Living website. We use this information to understand what visitors to our site are looking for and what they find interesting, and to make decisions about how to improve the service that our website provides.
Storage of Data
When you complete a form on the website (i.e. when you enter one of our competitions or use the feedback form), we store the details you enter in a database. This database, along with one or more backup copies, is stored on computers that will be physically located either within the European Union or in the United States of America. Unless you tell us when you complete the form that you don't wish us to contact you in future, we may use this data to inform you about updates to our website or product range from time to time. If you believe your name and/or e-mail address to be stored in our database and would like the record deleted, please use contact us.
Data Security
Appropriate technical and organisational measures have been taken to protect the data we store from access by unauthorised individuals or organisations. The database itself is stored in a high security data centre, protected by leading-edge firewall technology.

Higher Living may send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:
- We have your consent to share the information

- We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Higher Living to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.)
Cookies
A cookie is a small file that is stored on your computer, which allows us to improve the quality of your visit to our website.
This site uses two types of cookies: session cookies, which are deleted from your computer when you close your web browser; and persistent cookies, which remain on your computer until they are deleted, or until a specified expiry date/time.
None of the cookies we use store any personal information about visitors to our site, however they may store information (such as a unique identifier) that enables a cookie to be linked to data we already store.
We use Google Analytics to generate reports on visitors' use of this website, which relies on a number of persistent and session cookies. More information about the cookies used by Google analytics can be found here: http://developers.google.com/analytics/resources/concepts/gaConceptsCookies. Google's privacy policy is available here: http://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html.
Most browsers allow users to control which cookies are accepted and to delete existing cookies. Please refer to your browser's 'Help' function for further instructions. Refusing to accept cookies will, in many circumstances, have a negative impact upon the usability of a website.
Your Consent
By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Higher Living. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.
